Grooming

Whether your dog is longhaired, shorthaired, small, or big, we offer grooming services to all breeds and sizes of dogs. We have safe and roomy bathing, grooming, and drying areas, so your dogs can be monitored for safety during every state of the grooming process.

Nails

Depending on your dog, they will usually need a nail trimming every month or so. We are here to help you with keeping your dog's paws and nails healthy. Trimming your dog's nails can be tricky, and they are often not willing to cooperate. In our state-of-the-art nail trimming area, we will keep your dog safe and as calm as possible while getting those nails primmed and polished!

  • Why should I choose House of Dogs?

    House of Dogs was established in 1920. For almost 100 years, House of Dogs has been the choice of pet owners in the Capital district for quality grooming, styling and pet care. Owner operated for more than 20 years, the staff at House of Dogs can provide your pet with professional grooming while maintaining the personal touch which has set House of Dogs apart from the competition from the start. Originally located in a storefront at the corner of Rt 2 and Old Loudon Rd, House of Dogs moved to a spacious new freestanding building in 2004. Our new state of the art facility has glass-walled grooming, drying and bathing areas, so that all pets can be monitored for safety during every state of the grooming process. There is also a generous dog walking area set well off the main road, a wonderfully clean and pleasant waiting room, and plenty of free parking.
